Licho - concepts

Artwork made especially for Crystal Canvas Rookies contest.

I decided to make to versions of Lichos visibale for humans form. One is active by night (I put more focus on this one) and second one is active by day.

By day licho is just an old skinny woman with half of her face covered by a hood. You can only see her one blind eye. There's nothing special about her. You can only wonder, why does this woman hang mortar on her stick, and what she has in her bag. She shouldn't draw attention to herself, that's why floral parts of her are hidden from the people by daylight. By day she's carefully watching peoples lifes, so she could succesfully harass them when the sun sets down...

By night Licho's power improves. With a nature power it wreak havoc.
The woman's skin is overgrown with tree bark, moss and shrooms. There are gems dangling from Licho's stick that resonate with it's demonic power. Licho uses it's mortar to prepare herb and seeds to use their abilities, which are only a mystery for human society. But the demon is well know for the power of nature and can even achieve more by combining it with it's own magic. Licho's strangh increases with people's anger and sadness, so it can do even more terrible things.
